Reclaiming Self Esteem

This class is designed to teach the therapist how to present a successful seminar on reclaiming self esteem.

This is an important part of our lives and so many of my clients are missing it. I created this program to assist people (particularly women) how to pull themselves up by their boot straps and believe in themselves.

There is so much involved in Self Esteem. It is hard to get and easily destroyed. We begin to learn self esteem (either good or bad) as very young children. And it tends to go down hill from there. Our boss intimidates us. Our co-workers take advantage of us. Our spouse belittles us and our children run over us. Why? Because we have been taught poor self esteem habits.

How many times have you heard people say that when someone storms into a room and they think, "What did I do to make him angry?"

How many times have your clients told you of a project that failed because a co-worker doesn't complete his assigned part?

How many times have your clients told you they feel like a doormat just waiting for someone to walk over them?

This class identifies the 13 destructive thought patterns and how to survive them, change them, and eliminate them; how to deal with people who use communication and body language to intimidate; better ways to respond to aggressive and passive aggressive behavior and how to get yourself out of the passive behavior style.

Learn the value and power of positive affirmations. I'm really big on this. Negativity is so incredibly powerful that it takes six positive affirmations to eliminate a single negative statement. Wow. And 90% of all negativity starts between our own ears! How many times do we hear the negative and completely ignore the positive. Why is that? Because that is how we are trained. This program helps retrain our minds and our reactions to view the positive and ignore the negatives.
